Black Sun  is a Hard Rock / Heavy Metal band is formed by Christopher Gruenberg (Guitar), Santiago Salem (Bajo) and Nicolás Estrada (Battery), from Guayaquil, Ecuador, established on 1999, who have delivered three full-length albums. The success of the album 'The Puppeteer' with songs like Robert The Doll , which featured in the New Metal Tracks editorial by Spotify, and Let Me Be in local and international radio stations, reaffirms the band's upheaval. Let Me Be landed a top 40 spot (#36) on the Ecuadorian music charts on 2017 (radio + streams) and the music video for Robert The Doll won for best Music Video MBN Ecuador 2017/h6>.

During the production of Black Sun 's new material the band parted ways with longtime lead singer. Under the wing of the band's producer, NINO LAURENNE (Emma Winner – Finnish Grammy, Hevisaurus, Amorphis, The Rasmus and more at www.ninolaurenne.com), Black Sun found ways to finish the upcoming material, which will feature guest singers in all songs.

'Still Alive' is the first single from the band's upcoming release, and it will mark a new era, a clean slate for the South American rockers. Producer NINO LAURENNE arranged Finnish metal legends and talents like TONY KAKKO (Sonata Arctica), Lordi, NOORA LOUHIMO (Battle Beast), PASI RANTANEN (Thunderstone), ELIAS VILJANEN (Sonata Arctica), NETTA LAURENNE (Smackbound), JUKKA PELKONEN (Omnium Gatherum) and ASIM SEARAH (Wintersun / Damnation Plan) to feat in this powerful and catchy metal hymn.
