Christian Vidal, Guitar player, composer, arranger and producer, member of the Swedish metal band Therion since 2010, with them he has recorded two albums, two live DVD’s and has toured several times Europe, America and some countries in Asia and they are now mixing the new album wich is gonna be a rock opera.

Apart from touring they ve played many important festivals like, Wacken (2016), Grasspop, Hellfest, loodstock, Progpower, Sweden rock,Loudpark  and etc, sharing stage with bands like: Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Black sabbath, Aerosmith and many others.

Born in Argentina in 1972, he started taking guitar lessons in 1980.

After several hard rock and metal projects he recorded his first EP with Cuero, an Argentinean metal band, they released an album in 2002 Heavy metal.

In 2005 he released his first instrumental solo album, El viaje, where he plays a kind of fusion in between progressive metal, Argentinean tango and Argentinean folk music.

In 2008 he played with Eric Martin (Mr. Big singer), with The road vultures (name given to them by Eric himself) they toured several times for America and India as well.

He has been teaching since the late 90s as a private teacher and in ITMC (Argentinean music school) during 5 years till he joined Therion and had to quit due to the tours.

Since 2012 he’s been playing with Symphonic Rhapsody of Queen, where he shared stage with his Therion partners Thomas Vikstrom, Lori Lewis, Mats Levens (former Therion), Tommy Heart (fair warning) and many others, in 2014 he started arranging for symphonic orchestra by arranging all the songs in the show Abba Symphonic Rhapsody, then he has been writing several arrangements for that production.

Now he has just finished writing all the arrangements for the upcoming show Pink Floyd symphonic rhapsody.
